Family Planning Choices

Saya rasa this topic really bermakna for those married couple and also for those who are gettin marry plus untuk semua kaum wanita di luar sana untuk tahu tentang perancangan keluarga which means merancang keluarga dengan cara yang bagaimana untuk mengawal penambahan ahli baru di dalam keluarga anda.

This is the natural methods of family planning

Periodic abstinence: A group of methods that are based on avoiding sexual intercourse during the fertile time (time when a woman can conceive.) A woman's fertile time is identified through observing, recording and interpreting natural signs and symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle. These methods include the standard days method, calendar (rhythm) method, cervical mucus (or ovulation) method, and basal body temperature method.

Withdrawal (coitus interruptus): A method where sexual intercourse is interrupted and the penis is withdrawn from the vagina before ejaculation.

Barrier method

Condom

Useful rite.
Cervical cap

A cervical cap is a latex, thimble-shaped device that is inserted into the vagina and fits snugly over the cervix. Suction keeps the cap in place. A cervical cap provides a barrier to block sperm from entering the uterus and prevents fertilization. After intercourse, it should be left in place for 8 hours. A cervical cap is used with spermicidal jellies or creams that kill sperm. As birth control, cervical caps are 84-91% effective for women who have never given birth. They are 68-74% effective for women who have given birth.Pheww..macam seram je this thing.

Hormonal Methods

Tablet

Implant

An implant is a hormonal method of birth control that consists of match-sized plastic rods inserted just underneath the skin in the upper arm. The rods release a constant dose of a progestogen which creates the contraceptive effect and it works by the contraceptive effect of the implant is primarily achieved by inhibition of ovulation. Ovulations were not observed in the first two years of use and only rarely in the third year. Besides inhibition of ovulation, the implant also causes changes in the cervical mucus, which hinders the passage of the sperm.Erm..kenapa ada my friend used this one,tak sampai setahun she's pregnant her 2nd baby.

Intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD)

A device inserted into the uterus (womb) to prevent conception (pregnancy). The IUD can be a coil, loop, triangle, or T-shape. It can be plastic or metal.
An IUD is inserted into the uterus by a health-care professional. Of two types of IUDs approved in the U.S., one can remain in place for 10 years, while the other must be replaced every year.
The function of it is to prevent sperm and eggs from meeting by either immobilizing the sperm on their way to the fallopian tubes or by changing the uterine lining so the fertilized egg cannot implant in it.

Semua methods ni ada adv and dsadv.
